(This belongs on Foxtrot Alpha, but I don't have privileges there).
If there was any second world war pilot you should know about, it's probably this one.
Such an amazing story of a young man who:
"Captain Eric 'Winkle' Brown recounts his flying experiences, encounters with the Nazis and other adventures leading up to and during the Second World War. Illustrated with archive footage and Captain Brown's own photos."
I'd love to shake this man's hand.

Not only does he hold the record for the greatest number of types of plane flown, he'll hold it in perpetuity because there are so many fewer types available to fly now.

This guy is an absolute legend. The stuff he's seen and experienced.
